In Dreams StencilGirl Products stencil design by Seth Apter

"All righty then" I certainly went off somewhere else on this. I wanted grizzled elements so the words emerge as from the fiery furnace. Yes I know I am wacked. Caran D' Ache neopastels grabbed on to the coat of clear gesso applied over the surface very nicely. This is my rendition of this amazing stencil created by Seth Apter for StencilGirl Products November StencilClub offering.

Handmade GELLI plates Folio

GELLI Arts usually puts their products in a package that doubles as an appropriate storage. When I got my mini GELLI shapes plates the trays were the only part of the packaging that housed the shapes. I trimmed down the trays and adhered them inside folio. I put a grommet through each side to tie the folio closed so the cute little GELLIES won't jump out and get lost.  You know art supplies and tools need a safe place to live between jobs right?  This is 2 pieces of cardboard wrapped in cheap drawing paper, edged with duct tape.  I printed the shapes with the GELLI plates, went back to highlight with gel pens and outlined with a Faber Castell Pitt pen.
